By using ecological, 100% recyclable materials and modern machinery, SLG makes a sustainable contribution to the conservation of resources and the environment. This doesn’t just benefit our customers but nature too.
SLG uses a variety of plastics, biomaterials and PET in production. The often underestimated plastics (polymers, polycondensates and polyadducts) offer a wealth of design and production options.
We use materials from 100% renewable raw materials, high-quality compounds with plastic components and completely bio-degradable materials in biomaterials. Granular PET recyclate

Quality start with the intitial contact with a customer when we want to understand the customer and what they want right from the beginning. An initial enquiry that is specific or just a vision at first starts in an interdisciplinary process using feasibility analysis. The customer should know that they and their challenges are in good hands. We say that if the customer returns and not the product, everyone did a good job. SLG has been certified according to DIN ISO 9001 since 1995 and has already received numerous awards in the form of Suppliers of the Year. This once again confirms our wuality philosophy. We rely on capable processes and procedures to continue to ensure a high quality standard. Which is why we consistently apply modern quality assurance methods, such as FMEA, MFU, SPC, MSA and many more, at all stages in the value chain. We don´t just want quality - we also produce it!

Certification according to ISO 28000 enables us to react as quickly as possible to risks in the supply chain and to prevent them with appropriate measures. We want to offer our customers added value by doing our best to ensure security within the entire supply chain. In particular, security in the areas of financing, production, information management, storage, goods transport and the infrastructure for packaging between the various means of transport and delivery locations is increased with the help of this certification. Since we produce and ship products for our customers every day, it is particularly important to us to ensure security in the supply and transport chain. This also has a positive influence on our quality management and we can serve you as a customer to your complete satisfaction.
We realised early on that we needed to use the valuable resource of electricity more efficiently. In order to achieve the highest level of energy efficiency, we have set up a central monitoring system where we can view and evaluate virtually all the energy flows at all times. Our key performance figures and values are considered to be very ambitious in the industry - but our result is convincing! We therefore currently only purchase primary energy/electricity and use these resources until they practically make their own contribution in terms of energy.
For example, we use our heat recovery system to heat the entire building, warehouses and administration.
Our carbon footprint substantiates this once again every year.
Safety at work begins as soon as you enter our factory with a safety briefing, questions, answers and assessments. By doing this, we ensure that all employees, customers, suppliers and individuals can safely move around the site and leave the factory again in good health.
We have made zero accidents a management issue and our success proves us right. Every year our reinsurance company confirms precisely that and rewards us with discounts.
Our occupational health and safety performance is audited annually using OHSAS 18000 to support this. Active and passive fire protection are also considered in this process.
All stakeholders have to be actively involved to be able to achieve our target of zero accidents and we kindly ask this of you right from the outset.
